  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
  • 1 can tomato sauce (8 oz)
  • 1 can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Brown the ground turkey in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the diced onion and garlic; cook until softened.
  • Transfer the turkey mixture to a slow cooker.
  • Add diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, kidney beans, black beans, chicken broth, chili powder, cumin, paprika, and oregano.
  • Stir to combine, then season with salt and pepper.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  • Serve hot, garnished with your favorite toppings.

Notes

  • Adjust the spice level by adding more or less chili powder.
  • This chili can be frozen for up to 3 months.
