8 oz spaghetti or noodles of choice
4 tbsp unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
2 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Cook the noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/4 cup of pasta water before draining.
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
Toss the cooked noodles into the skillet, mixing well to coat with the garlic butter. Add reserved pasta water if needed to loosen the sauce.
