  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Cook the noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/4 cup of pasta water before draining.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  • Toss the cooked noodles into the skillet, mixing well to coat with the garlic butter. Add reserved pasta water if needed to loosen the sauce.
  • Stir in Parmesan cheese, red pepper flakes, and parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve immediately, garnished with additional parsley or cheese if desired.
