  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Season pork chops with salt, pepper, and paprika, and set aside.
  • In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat and sauté garlic and onions until soft.

  • Slowly whisk in milk, cooking until the sauce thickens.
  • Remove from heat, stir in shredded cheddar cheese, and season with salt and pepper.
  • Layer half of the sliced potatoes in a greased baking dish, pour half of the cheese sauce over the potatoes.
  • Add the remaining potatoes and pour the rest of the cheese sauce over the top.
  • Arrange the pork chops on top of the potatoes.

  • Remove foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until pork chops are browned and potatoes are tender.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, sear pork chops before baking to get a golden crust.
  • You can add herbs like thyme or rosemary for added depth of flavor.
  • Swap cheddar for other cheeses like Gruyère or mozzarella for a different twist.
