  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1/3 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for cooking)

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, mix ground chicken, feta, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, onion, parsley, dill, oregano, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  • Form into small meatballs (about 1-inch in diameter).
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook meatballs for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown and cooked through (165°F internal temperature).
  • Serve with tzatziki, in pita wraps, or over a Greek salad.

Notes

  • Bake at 400°F for 18-20 minutes if preferred over frying.
  • Can be frozen raw or cooked for easy meal prep.
