  • 1 cup breadcrumbs

  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper

For the glaze:

  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, egg, milk, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  • Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a greased loaf pan or on a lined baking sheet.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together ketchup, brown sugar, and Dijon mustard for the glaze. Spread half over the top of the meatloaf.
  • Bake for 45 minutes. Remove from the oven, spread the remaining glaze, and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
  • Let the meatloaf rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing and serving
