  • 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni, uncooked

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  • In a large pot, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Add diced onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Cook until vegetables are softened.
  • Stir in kidney beans, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, beef broth, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  • Bring the mixture to a boil, then add the uncooked macaroni.
  • Reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 10-12 minutes or until pasta is tender.
  • Stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.
  • Serve hot, garnished with additional cheese or green onions if desired.
