  • 12 oz spaghetti or fettuccine
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs (optional for topping)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Cook pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Sauté onions and garlic until softened.
  • Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute, then slowly whisk in chicken broth and cream. Cook until sauce thickens.
  • Stir in sour cream, Parmesan, and mozzarella until melted and smooth.
  • Add cooked chicken and pasta, mixing until evenly coated.
  • Transfer to a greased baking dish. Top with breadcrumbs if using.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  • Garnish with parsley and serve.

Notes

You can substitute turkey for chicken or add mushrooms for extra flavor. For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
