  • 2 cans kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 2 cans diced tomatoes

  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  • Add the diced onion, garlic, and bell pepper to the skillet, sauté until softened.
  • Transfer the beef mixture to the crockpot.
  • Add the kidney beans, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, chili powder, cumin, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper to the crockpot.
  • Stir well to combine all ingredients.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  • Serve hot with your favorite toppings like shredded cheese, sour cream, or green onions.

  • For a spicier chili, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or some diced jalapeños.
