  • 1 cup buttermilk

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • ½ cup cornmeal

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • Vegetable oil, for frying

  • 4 sandwich buns

  • Tartar sauce, for serving

  • Coleslaw, for topping (optional)

  • Pickles (optional)

Instructions

  • Marinate cod in buttermilk for 30 minutes.

  • In a bowl, mix flour, cornmeal, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
