Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 bone-in or boneless pork chops
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1/2 tsp rosemary
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Season pork chops with salt and pepper.
  • Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear pork chops until golden on both sides, about 3 minutes per side.
  • Remove chops and set aside. In the same skillet, add garlic, thyme, rosemary, and cook for 1 minute.
  • Stir in chicken broth, scraping any browned bits from the skillet. Add heavy cream and Parmesan cheese; bring to a gentle simmer.
  • Return pork chops to skillet, spoon sauce over, and transfer skillet to the preheated oven.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until pork reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  • Serve with sauce spooned over the top.

Notes

  • For added flavor, add mushrooms or onions when cooking the garlic.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley for extra color and flavor.
