This classic meatloaf recipe is the ultimate comfort food, made with ground beef, breadcrumbs, and spices, baked to juicy perfection.

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup ketchup (plus extra for topping)
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, eggs, milk, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  • Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a greased loaf pan or on a lined baking sheet.
  • Spread a layer of ketchup on top of the loaf.
  • Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  • Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
