  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped (optional garnish)

Instructions

  • In a bowl, marinate the beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and a pinch of pepper. Set aside for 10 minutes.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and cook for 2-3 minutes until browned.
  • Remove the beef and set aside. In the same skillet, add onions and stir-fry for 2 minutes until slightly softened.
  • Add garlic, stir for 30 seconds, then return the beef to the skillet. Drizzle sesame oil and stir everything together.
  • Season with salt and pepper, garnish with green onions if desired, and serve hot over rice.

Notes

  • Use flank or sirloin for the best texture.
  • Slice beef thinly for quicker cooking.
  • Adjust soy sauce or oyster sauce for a less salty taste.
