Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 8-10 slider buns
  • 8-10 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional)
  • Pickles, lettuce, and condiments, for serving

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef and diced onion until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  • Stir in the onion soup mix, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat.
  • Place the bottom halves of the slider buns on a baking sheet. Spread the cooked beef mixture evenly over the buns.
  • Top with cheese slices and place the bun tops over the cheese.
  • Brush melted butter over the buns and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until cheese is melted and sliders are warmed through.
  • Serve immediately with pickles, lettuce, and your favorite condiments.

Notes

  • Use Hawaiian sweet rolls for an added flavor boost.
  • Customize the sliders with your favorite cheeses or seasonings.
  • For a crispy bun, remove the foil and broil for the last 2 minutes.
