Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 large onion, finely diced
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 12 slices cheddar cheese
  • 24 Hawaiian rolls
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds
  • Toppings: lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, ketchup, mustard (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large skillet, cook ground beef and diced onion over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Stir in Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  • Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally without separating individual rolls, creating a top and bottom.
  • Place the bottom half on a baking sheet and spread the beef mixture evenly over the rolls.
  • Layer cheese slices over the beef.
  • Place the top half of the rolls over the cheese and brush with melted butter. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 5 minutes until cheese is melted and tops are golden.
  • Slice into individual sliders and add your favorite toppings. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Customize with your favorite cheeses or add extra toppings like jalapeños or caramelized onions.
  • For a spicier kick, add crushed red pepper flakes or a dash of hot sauce to the beef.
