  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 4 slices of cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Rub the chicken breasts with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and sear the chicken for 2-3 minutes on each side.
  • Place the chicken in a baking dish, brush each piece with barbecue sauce, and bake for 20 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven, top with shredded cheese and bacon, and bake for an additional 5 minutes until the cheese is melted.
